About Us
Meetings Mean Business was founded by the U.S. Travel Association and its members to explain the value of meetings, events and performance incentive travel to businesses and our economy. The travel industry as a whole is a critical component to the U.S. economy, contributing over $740 billion to the economy and generating 7.7 million American jobs. When meetings are cancelled, it’s these hardworking Americans – not CEOs – who pay the price. The U.S. Travel Association is a non-profit trade organization that represents and speaks for the common interests of the U.S. travel industry.
